    thx for the help jeepster357. unfortunately the switch you referenced is for a grand cherokee not the smaller box style cherokee. but thanks for the effort. i may need to go to the dealer.

    hey guys, i am trying to find a seat electrical heater switch (rocker style) which mounts in the center console for my 2001 cherokee. the p/n on the housing is "0291A". the outer housing is all i really need anyway. i have done online searches but no luck.

    nope, warranty gone a long time ago. valvoline is a trusted brand though. my concern is if you can mix the two or do a cojmplete flush.

    I just purchased the Valvoline ATF+4 for my jeep. I have read that 1. Valvoline makes many of DC'c fluids, and 2. Valvoline is licensed to make the ATF+4 ajnd meets their spec. Anyone have thoughts on this?

    Who has an opinion on "wet" type air filters? Considering on purchasing the K&N charged filter. Is the supposed increase in power worth the lower filtration?

    I had my rear seal go out in my cherokee and decided that since I didn't have a lift and the job seems a pain in the a__, I swallowed my pride and let the shop do it. I had to save for it.

    All I know is the shop said they checked the cat and it looks fine.

    I had the shop remove one O2 sensor at a time and no change. Cat also checked good. No oil loss.

    Thx for the input guys. It just kind of troubles me that I am getting the mileage that I am compared to new, which was much higher. Yeah, the sand paper sound i think may be my back brakes. The problem is you can't hear it with the windows down, only up. (I hope its not the transmission)...
