K took the alternator off last night and double checked it at the auto store, it was bad. Got a new one and its back up and running :) Theres a warning that says the alternator can be damaged by tightening the belt too much. I didn't think it was all that tight but it was so old

yea I was going to, but I know the battery was holding a charge just a week ago, and the fact that we jumped it and it died almost instantly with the car running leads me to believe its the alternator, it looks ooold so I'm guessing it was just its time.

Guess the alternators shot. Had to have a friend jump me today because it was running like crap. had to jump it again 10 feet down the road.

Thanks! We got most of the carpet in today. Getting it to fit properly is a PITA! Might upload pics tomorrow or just wait until all the seats/carpet is done before. After that the only thing left is dash and door panels.

I dont know if it was something the previous owner did or what, but there were holes in the rear of my g/fs XJ. There was also water coming from under the dash?

Thanks :). Yea this stuff is awesome. We've got it wet and nothing comes up, same with scratching it hard. No flaking, no cracking, nothing. You can push the vinyl in completely, same flexibility but again, no cracking or anything, very cool stuff. I see it lasting quite a long time

We're going to try the fuel line thing one of these days. I'm thinking thats what the problem is because after the seafoam it hasn't stalled since, maybe it spread it out some but it still must not be flowing as well, still a little rumbly. If that doesn't work I'll definately try that next...
