thanks for the help guys. I bought it a ford dealer and they said to go to a jeep dealer to have it checked (used car warranty). the jeep guys said it was normal for wranglers to do that, but they also wanted to replace front u-joints.

2000 wrangler 4.0L, auto, 31" tires. seems to be getting about 11 mpg. i try not to go over about 55mph and am on highway about half time. RPM are about 2500 at 55mph. How much do the bigger tires affect the speedo and the odometer? I guess my figures could be off a bit but i would expect...

i have a 2000 wrangler 4.0L. It has 31" tires. When i put it in 4H it seems to pull to the right (maybe an alignment issue???). When i take it out of 4H (going anywhere from 20mph-50mph) after about 10-15 sec. the pull goes away and there is a pop noise that i can feel. It is significant...
