poping after i take it out of 4 wheel

i have a 2000 wrangler 4.0L. It has 31" tires. When i put it in 4H it seems to pull to the right (maybe an alignment issue???). When i take it out of 4H (going anywhere from 20mph-50mph) after about 10-15 sec. the pull goes away and there is a pop noise that i can feel. It is significant enough to slightly shake the steering wheel, but doesn't really feel like its coming from the front end? Any ideas? thanks

I seriously think that the problem is in the front end if you have a pull. That Pop could possibly be a U-joint on your front axle and may need to be checked. it might be binding. also check the front axle for proper engagement when in 4WD. make sure that both wheels are engaged.

The pop is likely the transfer case disengaging after being bound up. Check/change the transfer case fluid and see if it helps.

What does it say about my maturity level that when I first saw the title of this post I thought it said "pooping"?

thanks for the help guys. I bought it a ford dealer and they said to go to a jeep dealer to have it checked (used car warranty). the jeep guys said it was normal for wranglers to do that, but they also wanted to replace front u-joints.
