01' hard top on my 99'

My neighbors' friend has a 06 rubi but got rid of a 01' sport. i have a 99' sport and he wants to sell me his hard top he asked for 800 my neighbor said hes a ***** urple: and will drop it down to 500 is that still to much or is it a great deal

Out here in Indy, a used HT from the Junkyard is $900! If it's in good shape, (IMO) $500 is a steal!

if it fits and for 5 bills.... TAKE IT!!! i had offers for my old 91's HT at about a grand and i, in my infinite wisdom... DIDNT TAKE IT!!! (still kicking myself 5yrs later...) no... check the aftermarket or better still.... call a stealership and get a price.... $500 is a great deal if you want a HT.... shoot, i'm still trying to figure out how much my YJ full steel and 1/2 steel doors are worth.... ;o)
