01WJ Limited intermittent start

Just recently the GC Limited w 4.7L would intermittnet start. turn key on all looks ok, but would not turn starter. bump it a couple times & then would start. Have read dozens of post on other forums of similar stories.

it is NOT:
starter
battery (brand new - had symptom on both old & new)
cables
soleniod
key
ignition switch

all have been elimated.

now this week it has returned to starting every time as it should. anyone else have this issue?

I had similar issues time to time with an 01 wj laredo. Are you positive it isn't the key? Mine somtimes wouldn't start then i'd turn the key over and it would...stupid security system in those things.

miraculously it has begun to start every time key is bumped ... sounds like something loose somewhere. oh well .. gonna let that sleeping dog lie. thanks everyone!

Not consciously I haven't but I will if it acts up again

Its worth a shot if it acts up again, also if you have a second key try using it for awhile. That's what I ended up doing.
