2 inch body lift on an 85 cj7, good or bad idea?

I am custom making a 2 inch body lift for a 1985 cj7. it is a 5 speed and has a 258 4.2. I was wondering what all mods I will have to do to put in the 2 inch lift. I have a friend who has a 90 Islander jeep and he put a 2 inch on his with no problem.. But, Since mine is a little different, I was just curious if there was anything else i need to watch out for. And once again, I want to thank everyone who helped with my (jeep cj7 wont start) topic.
She is running great now.

Should have no real problems just watch out make sure the radaitor does not to be droped as well. See that everything clears and is good to go prior to stating her up. Shifter will be a couple of inches shorter when you finish. I would not go over 2" in body lift but you will be good to go. Let us see some pics and what are you useing for the lift material wise. just courious. Good luck with the lift tug

I am using teflon rollers. they are high strength and used in production equipment. My buddy used the same thing about 5 years ago and it is still going strong. How do i add pictures to show you guys?

when you're done, just check your shifter and stuff.. make sure it goes into all gears, and will engage in 4lo the right way... if so, the radiator/fan shraud MAY be the only thing you have to deal with
