258 to 350 swap

I have an 82 CJ7 with a 258, T5, and Dana 300. The engine needs to be rebuilt and I am considering putting a GM350 TBI in its place, I know that I will have to change the transmission to someting like a T18, but not sure what else is gonna have to be changed. Looking for some advise.

I guess what you could do is add everything up for a nice 350, a transmission, and the wiring and compare it to a rebuild kit and necessary items for your 258. Then, of course, pick the cheaper outlet. 8)
