i have a 94 2wd cherokee. i want to put a lift and tires on it to make it look good, not too much for 4wheeling. i have found a 3" lift for 2wd with viral racing products, which has 3" coils up front and add-a-leafs in the rear. i also want to completely remove the fenders for extra clearance and tire room. i want to fit either 32s or 33s. would somebody help me with this, cause i'm not sure?[addsig]

Just me being practicle, but is it's the look your going for:

Go with the budget 3"

Get some TJ or YJ fenders

Trim yours before installing the new fenders

Get some thornbird 32", other VERY aggressive tires

Grill gaurd

(personally would not run 33" on a 2wd. If you ever do get in the mud or offroad, that's putting one hell of a load on your rearend) Also you'll want to install towhooks if you do go offroading they are cheap protection in case you get stuck. A lot of different places sell the mounting brackets you'll need with the towhooks.

That would give you a clean aggressive look and will give you more flex than stock without butchering your front end.[addsig]

heh... sometimes i try taking my 4wd jeep offroad in 2wd, and i always get stuck and end up putting it in 4. i wouldn't even try taking yours offroad unless you have someone there with something to pull you out. i also don't really see the point in lifting a jeep, putting huge ass tires on it, and NOT taking it off the road. what's the point!? have one of your 4wd friends take you offroading some time... you'll love it! if i were you i'd sell your 2wd for a 4wd... possibly buy a 4x4 '92, swap engines with yours, and sell the '94 with the '92 motor in it.[addsig]

i've been 4wheeling many times, and the places we go, most 4x4s can't make it, they have to use a winch and lock their differentials to do it. i just want o get in a little mud every now and then, but i want the look mostly, i dont have the money to swap engines.[addsig]

Here in southern California there are tons of people with lifted 2x4's. I am in the process of lifting the front of my 97 XJ 2x4 6 inches. Desert racing is very popular here and 2x4's are just way easier to get massive amounts of travel out of. See some very capable 2x4s here: JeepSpeed. And, with some good tires and a locker 2x4's are decent trail riders and are very capable traversing sand dunes. I will admit though, if I could have bought a 4x4 XJ I would have.
