Is anyone going to MOAB????

Well, I am getting ready to buy some 35's for my Cj5. I was wondering if anyone here can give me advice on the best tire to go with? I am a college student and will also have to do it inexpensively. Does anyone know who sells the tires the cheapest? And black rockcrawler rims as well.

Once everything is all said and done, I will have widetrac axles, dana 30 in front with an ez-locker and 4:56 gears. Rear will be the AMC 20 with a one piece axle kit, detriot soft locker and same gears. All will be under a five inch lift. But I need to find the tires, because it looks ridiculous with the stock ones.

Thanks for the help

Well since I have no idea what your lookin to spend, I'll just give you a link... www.desertrat.com They have good deals usually, all sorts of tires, even wheel tire combos. Good luck.

might as well get the regular tsl's. THey last just as long as the radials, are cheaper, and perform a hell of a lot better.

I will mostly use my jeep for city driving and offroading, 75% to 25%.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Filling up an AX5 with fluids...

Dunlop Mud Rovers are decent for the price. Wont perform like a TSL but they are, in my opinion, a little better than the BFG.

Not on the road! As far as offroad, the bias ply tires may perform better for rock climbing, when aired way down because they will flex and bulge better, but for mud they should be the same.

This intirely depends on the way you drive. But I have seen Tsl's last longer than the radials even when they babied both tiree on the street and mud.
