4x4 not working

Ok...so everyones telling me I probably have a vaccum issue with my Cherokee....does any one have pics of what I need to be looking for at or around the axle or CAD area??...its 26 here I really dont want to crawl under it to just "look around"

Thank you for that....but my jeep doesnt have that canister on the axle???

My four wheel drive isn't working

Can you be a bit more specific. Front tires not spinning, what. Unless you have the full time/part time t-case you do have the CAD axle.

No need to get snippy
if you don't explain what its doing how are we supposed to help :shades:
all we can do is guess till you tell us your symptoms
is your front drive shaft spinning when you engage 4 wheel when rolling
does your transfer case feel like it engages
what happen before it went out

The 90 should CAD if not then idk lol but if it does then its probably a problem with the vcuum hose, a friend tore his off his 2000 and his 4x4 wouldn't engage till it was too late. thats the problem with anything vacuum actuated on an offroad vehicle.

Your friends 2000 doesn't have a vacuum activated axle. They stopped using it in the 92 models and models with a 242 t-case never used it. That's why I asked the OP if he has a full time/part time t-case.

oops my bad, got the vehicles mixed up, his XJ is an 88' like mine, the wrangler is a 2000 lol
