Heck, son, take her out and get'er dirty!!!8)

Seriously, though, that's a good lookin' Jeep. Good condition for a '99! Hard to tell from the pics, but that right front tire looks a tad shy on tread. Mebbe you should start with some decent shoes, like a good mud tire, or all-terrain. Personally, I'd go with mud, but that's up to you.

Starting with a stocker like that, the door's open for mods....hard to say where to begin, I suppose it all depends on your budget. As for me, the money's tight, so I've been doing little things here and there, trying to save for the lift.

Just keep us posted, and feel free to ask any questions anytime!!;)

The big question here is what do you want to do with her?
Rock crawling or mud slinging...desert racer or city jeep?
Let us know what type of off-roading you want to do and we can come up with as many suggestions as is there members here..lol.

Thats a good looking Jeep, I always have liked the copper.

Just as a personal preference, the first thing I did with mine is take off the plastic bumper ends and bob the front bumper.

The tires are looking a little tired, thats probably where I would go next.

First off..........SWEET!!!!

I'm with Sparky......get 'er dirty!!! Take 'er to the places you wanna go (you know you don't need "roads"). She'll tell ya' what she wants, eventually. Kinda the way I've gone with mine......mostly stock but a few mods to help me get where I wanna go. But enough cannot be said about tires......MEATS are first, in my book.

thanks guys... i think the first thing im going to go with are mud tires... where i live, it would be more practical to go with mud tires

Good looking jeep. I will second the take her out and see what she wants way of thinking. Some good tires will never hurt ya however.

If you ever want to lift it, then I would say do the lift and tires at the same time. If you don't plan on lifting it though, then definately some decent mud tires would be first up in order of mods. Oh, and bobbing the front bumper on TJ's does look pretty sweet, if you're going for an offroader look. Wish I had a TJ...
