a stupid question cuz im lazy bought the interior

on my 89 xj there is a light or sumthing another in between the sun visors. i havent a clue what it is or if its even worth fixing. my guess is its a thermostat. if you kno the info will be appreciated. thanx

No clue:lol: J/K. If i remember correctly, it's a sensor for the Vehicle theft deterent system. Intrusion sensor. If you dont use your alarm sytem, i wouldnt worry about it.

well damn. i guess im riding high class then. i dont have a keyless intry remote. i guess that got lost over the years. its a $300 jeep dont think im worryed bought fixing that. preciate the help my friend.
