axle piece

I broke the part off my axle that my front left control arm mounts onto. Sheared it right in half on a rock. Can i just buy the metal piece new from jeep and weld it back onto the axle tube?

Do a web search for an aftermarket one. There has to be someone out there making them cheaper than what DC probably wants for it. Upgrade both sides if you come across a better design. It's pretty common for that to happen on the TJs.

Do these aftermarket ones have the little adjuster on them? I think its to adjust camber or something. None of the ones on that rubi express site look like they have it, but i guess it could just be a bad picture. Anyone else had one of these break off and used an aftermarket to replace?

you can see that little U shaped piece, thats where the adjuster thing goes. do i need this?
