Well I have some bad news. My jeep has come off the road for a year or so because of my stupid decision to get behind the wheel after a couple of drinks. The MAN clocked me doing 52 in a 40 then nailed my with a DWI after bringing me down to the station for a Breathalyzer test. not good not good at all. Well here is the my question what should I do with my jeep that is sitting for a couple of moths while I save some money for mods. Had some saved up but spent it all plus some on fines and my attorney. What care should I give my jeep that will be sitting thanks for any help on this ..

To those who drink and drive it is not worth it in the long run

Yeah, drinking ahnd driving is a BIG no-no. As for the jeep sitting ofr a couple of months, put it up on jackstands, but make sure they are on the frame so the suspension stays nice. fill up all of the fluids so you don't get any condensation(aka water) in it. I'd put some small canvas tarps on the tires and maybe a big one over the whole jeep. Hope that helps you.

Ya, support it by the frame and let the axles hang, better for the suspension.

Add some fuel stabilizer to the gas tank. I'd let somebody else drive it every couple of weeks or at least once a month, keeps the seals freshly lubed.[addsig]

I'm assuming no one was injured?
or you'd still be in the stockade.

Thank God for your physical safety
and some time to reflect....

Don't mean to preach 'old friend'.
But I'm sure that several,
also cringe when they think of the LAST time,
they saw a Body Bag cover the face of the
youngster who WAS indestructable.

All out of hope to keep you alive.
Not to harp or preach.

I was active duty before, Hummv.
There ARE no Seat belts on a MUTT.
(M38A2)..... Not much left after a window ejection.

"The drunk will live through it, to face the widowed
mother and children." and a sober 12....

Don't anyone get twisted out of shape. please.

Think about it, if any of this keeps one Jeeper
alive, then there is one more brother to cover
your back the next time your stuck.

Or it simply acknowledges that while placing
his jeep on the frame, fluids, etc, will keep his
rig in shape,,,, Why ignore the fact that the
driver needs some mods too.? Chicken?

Let's save money, lift it up more, (unstable rig)
unstable driver...........

God forbid you hit someone and they were killed.
How would 25-life with rapist and murders sound.?
Hope you're not a 'pretty boy' or one who repeats
mistakes when given an opportunity to learn/live.

IF you care to flame, I'm sorry.

IF you want, I'll bring the Flame-Thrower.
It's a simple rig to operate.... Sober.

K-9 Kena..... OUT!!!

Bummer Dude but if you are going to dance you will have to pay the fiddler! Start it up and let some one driver her around every once in a while. tug[addsig]

Hey been there done that and learned a huge lesson. I got a restricted license so I was still able to drive my Jeep to and from work/school. I would just make sure to run it every few weeks........[addsig]
