Body lift

I just put in a 1" body lift and boy was it a pain in the butt. 4 out of 11 bolts where striped. I am gald it was only 4. I had to drill holes from the top of the tub and put new nuts over the top of the bolts with lock tight. It worked but boy that sucked. Never again will i take them bolts out. Any body else have this problem.

Did you soak everything in pb blaster beforehand?

actually i think the worst to do is the stock fender flares. i had hoped to remove them and sell the used ones. i ended up goin to town with an angle grinder.

when worst comes to worst bust out the torch, and heat em up. just make sure to wear mechnics gloves, i have had to many burns from doin bonehead things.

I didn't have that bad of a time with USMPK9 2" body lift...

You can't get to the nuts to soak them.Thay are in the Tub.

there are small holes to get some blaster up in there... also... if you can get a straw up in those holes, you can aim right toward the bolts
