Boggers or LTBs / 32RH transmission questions

My jeep is an 02 TJ with a K&N air intake / 1" throttlebody spacer / magnaflow exhaust / and the 32RH automatic transmission (which wasn't made to go underwater.. lol). I plan on putting a 6" rough country susp. lift kit and was thinking about putting some 35 boggers or some 36 LTB's. I've heard of boggers over 33" tearing up front ends of stock trucks and i'd like to avoid that. but also does anyone know if the 32RH transmission will handle all of this??? On another note/. has anyone in this forum successfully rerouted the vent hole for this transmission?? mine is in the shop right now because i got water in it and i'd like to fix this problem while its down.

Are you going to use this as your DD? If so the boggers really bring the suck for DD use, and wear out fast. I have boggers on my Willys and do not like using them on the street, but they are very good on the trail.

i have 33 all terr.. for everyday use.. i'm mainly worried that with stock gears / stock driveshaft / i don't want to start breaking stuff by running those bigger tires.. so my question is what should i deffinately change before running the 35" boggers or 36" LTBs under a 6" lift?

What rear axle do you have?
You do not need 6" of lift for 35" tires, besides it will look kinda funny with your 33" DD tires. Here is a link to a pic of my TJ with 6" lift and 38.5" tires, so you can see 35-36" tires will be rather small for that much lift.

One caveat on boggers they do not fair well on side hills. My willys has LTB's on front and boggers in the rear. The LTB's steer better and keep me from sliding down on side hills.
4" long arm kit with adjustable track bars
SYE/ CV shaft
Alloy axles because of the tire size is more than the stock axles can handle reliably, open diffs will help the stock axles live but defeat the traction of the aggressive tires.
Beefier steering links (not necessarily high steer)
Re-gear both axles for the tire size.

Do you think i could go with the 4" X series lift from rough country with the sye and cv shaft and include the steering arm to go with a set of 35 LTB's... i'm also not sure if my TC is the NP231 or not.. it's an 02 Wrangler sport with the I6

Rub how and where? Do you mean at full suspension compression or at full lock steering. Wheel offset, proper steering stops and bump stops will go a long way to solving those issues. Look at the pic of my TJ those tires are a lot bigger than 35" tires and I could use it like a mall crawler as is. But I plan on using it for trails so some tube fenders and comp cut quarter panels will come in the future.
Your T-case is a 231. Wait on buying the SYE till you decide on a lift kit. Some have parts that can get in he way of the super short SYE kits. As far as the rough country kit I am not familiar with it so I can't comment on it.

they don't make 36" ltb's

Boggers are not the best choice for a daily driver or a jeep that hits lots of rocks or needs to `perform any technical manuvers on a trail.. even when grooved, they side slide horribly..

here is a TJ with 3.5" lift total.. 2.5" suspension and 1" body and 35x15.5r15 boggers

Here is a video of the same jeep showing how bad the side sliding is with boggers.. the Win is the very end.
