Booyah?

Heard it before? My 5 yr old daughter is starting T Ball this spring, and when I got home from work today she jumped in front of me with her new cleats on, exclaiming "Booyah!". I've heard it before, but was wondering how she heard it. She named some cartoon, but then just out of curiosity I Googled it...
Booyah!
Exclamation of elation of joy, similar to "F-in' A!" Derived from the Jamaican word "booyakashah," which is loosely translated as "Kill whitey."
Example: I got a 1600 on my SATs? Booyah, baby!

Great, my kids are exclaiming Kill whitey.

haha i know what you mean. my little girl's almost two and developing quite a personality. she's adorable

The caption of that one Mingez is..."Huston we have a problem....the wings are not deploying!"

Note Booyah is also used in the US Marines. its an acceptable response to a superior officer when given a command or used as a moral booster.

actually its hoorah, or OOH-RAH! not booyah

Yeah, I didn't think the Marines would be shouting "Kill Whitey".

My son just told me the term Booyah is used in a cartoon he watches called Kim Possible. I think she is like a secret agent or something. Anyway, in the Army we do have one universal word that means has many definitions. Hooah! It's an Army thing. LOL

Sorry for the typos, dang fingers type faster then my brain.

That would explain where my kids picked it up. We nicknamed I guy I work with "Rufus" after Rufus the naked mole rat from Kim Possible

Every good lineman needs a nickname.
