Bumper Question

I'm about to order a new smittybuilt stubby stinger and I was wondering if anyone knew if I can mount my winch to this bumper, or do I have to buy a mounting plate?

I would assume you need a plate by the looks of it. Smittybilt's website wasn't much help either.

Thanks. I just found right in the middle of the page it says can be used with various winch plates...

To add to your own answer, be sure to check which plates work so you don't have to run around. I am buying the same bumper and I already have a winch plate...it doesn't fit I'm simply going to make one, but do your homework (or call Smitty) before you buy.

Thanks for that tip!! I looked at couple trying to find the right shape to fit around the stinger... Smitty has a raised plate I was lookin at, but I think I'll call to make sure
