camshaft pullet`s

Hello all, does any body know if the camshaft`s on a Cherokee sport 2.4 2002 have a keyed shaft for the pulley`s to line up on or do you have to lock the cam`s in position ?. after all the info I got I changed my timing belt but found the seal`s were leaking oil so they need to be done

The timing belt sprocket is keyed but not the damper.

is there even a dampener on the cam shaft???? wouldn't it be on the crank. The pulley should be keywayed.

hi all thank`s for the reply`s and help. I know that the crank shaft pulley is a tapered fit with a damper. so from the help I have had the camshaft`s do have key way`s in them which is a logical thing to have,but you can not see them from the front so I did not want to start to striping them down and have them move out of line. OK all thank`s for all your help. I am getting there slowly.
