Do you find the cd skips alot while driving in the jeep? I don't have a cd player, but am not too excited about getting one cause I'm thinking it will scratch the cd, unless I'm wrong of course...[addsig]

monster i just sent you an email, and tulip, right now ive got a discman attached through a cassette deck cord in my jeep and it doesnt skip. and ive never had a cd get scratched in any CD player me or my friends have ever owned.[addsig]

Tulip: I installed my cd player last spring and since then the only thing I've done to make my cd player skip are washouts on gravel roads and a few big bumps off road for the majority of the time it plays fine.[addsig]

If you have a REX in your area you can get an AWIA Mp3 CD CDR AM FM flip face 50w x 4 channel system with a full 5 year coverage for 129.00 was 249.00 and it kicks as good as anything on the market in the price range plus you got 250 plus songs per cd. Download from the web via a pier to pier file share. Just my 2 cents. Takes me two weeks sometimes to start to repete songs on one disk. Tug :-O [addsig]

yea im buyin that deck from monster. good call on the MP3's tho tug, my friend has 4 CD's in his car compared to my 36. lol and he still has more songs.[addsig]

After all the off roading i've done, Most in two wheel drive cars, I don't think that I have ever scratched a cd, while it was playing. Every once in a while you get that bump that will totally make it skip or just go to the next song....but it's all good.

yep, but never any scratches. im pretty sure all CD players read with a laser so i dont even think its physically possible to scratch one on a skip. maybe if you went off a cliff[addsig]
