Cherokee driver's seat 1996

Can anyone tell me whether a 1997 Jeep Cherokee driver's seat will fit in a 1996 Jeep Cherokee? Of course the seat broke :roll:, like in all 3 of the Cherokees we've had, and I'm not having much luck finding a 1996 seat for a reasonable price this time but I did find a 97.

I own a 96 Cherokee SE two door besides the seat going up to let people in the back....does everything else line up with a drivers seat from a four door jeep? I'm having a hard time locating a drivers seat also

you may need to change out the bottom seat rail to get it to fit correct but it will fit

You can also use a grand Cherokee seat just swap out the rails.
