CJ hard top

Ok I have a buddy that is looking to buy a hard top for his CJ-7. Will it work with the soft doors or will he also have to buy hard doors? Is there anywhere that sells tops new or used for a reasonable price?

NO!

will the soft doors work, not too sure, the YJ ones don't on a YJ and the tops are similar dimensions, But I can't say for sure.
want ads, ebay, classifieds, I would look there. Not sure what year CJ it is but if it is post 76, and top from 76-86 cj 7 will work and any yj 87-90 will also work. they changed the tops in 91 and won't work with the flip down tail gate on the cj.

The doors will work fine. All fo the CJ-7's had the same door patterns.

depends what type of soft top/doors he has/had. Most should work, but there are some aftermarket ones that won't. Chances are if they have the rounded top rear corners he's good to go.

I have looked in books like Quadratec. and cant find one. so hopefully he will find one somewhere.
