cold idle

Cold here in Colorado jeep starts find but will not idle unless foot on gas pedal. Shut it off resart when warmed up and it works fine any ideas??:???:

this is on your 99 TJ? maybe a bad temp sensor so the computer always "thinks" the engine is warm?

Maybe a dirty IAC on the side of the throttle body. May be a good time to remove the throttle body and all it's sensors, giving the throttle body a good bench cleaning. Clean the inside, especially the IAC housing (attached with 4 tamper-proof torx), with carb cleaner and a toothbrush.

Sounds like the best idea from what I read on the problem I will clean it up and see what happens thanks
