cry 8.25 problem

would like to know if your supposed to be able to pull the axle shaft out about 1/8th inch when you have the rear axle off the ground im worried that my axle shaft is going to come out please some one help

no Ive seen 8-1/4s with that kind of end play before. If the C clip is there and the cross pin is too then it cant come out (unless you get crazy with it and do something to cause the axle shaft to bust)

Just to give yourself a peace of mind, check the C-clips that retains the axle shaft. If they are worn, cupped or cracked, the axle shaft will pull out more than it should.
