hey everybody! my mechanic and i are having troubles trying to locate rear end assembly for my jeep with a 4.10 gear ratio. Although he did find a brand new, full assembly with brakes and all and electronic lockers. Its a rubicon rear end. He found it for 1805.00 Is this a good buy?

That's way too much. If it was a brand new set with everything new, I could understand. I'd think you could find a setup that's just as good for a few hundred.

If it's electric locker, it's from a JK and will not fit in your jeep without major mods. A 4.10 Rubi axle will have an air locker if from a TJ.
Just look for a 4cyl 5spd TJ, chances are it will have the 4.10 gears. Try searching Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market by your region or nationwide. Shipping is usually reasonable.

Not a bad deal but won't fit his LP35 rear axle.
