'97 TJ Factory Air leaks on floor

Thinking about saying goodbye to my 97 TJ and going to a older CJ. Dunno about all this though... Ive dropped about 6 grand into my Tj so i dunno wheter i wanna keep it or sell it and go for a beefy cj... I know all you CJ guys are gonna say go Cj and the Tj guys are gonan say keep the TJ i dunno just gimme a lil feedback..

Naw go YJ! I could never go back if I had a TJ thay are great off road and so much more Creature Conforts. Do what you think will make you happy but I went from YJ to CJ and can not wait to get another YJ. Tug

Is this your daily driver? CJ's just aren't nearly as comfortable as TJs are if you're on the highway alot... and although you said CJ's are beefy, TJ's are pretty damned capable. And don't even get me started on how much I want fuel injection...

I'm partial to the CJ (78 CJ5 - God bless America - at least it wasn't made when the Germans owned the company).

CJ's are simple, ez to find parts for, don't have the stink'in computers or fancy crap that's expensive, but usually by now they are stripped and don't have the creature comforts of the newer models.

In the end, you have to be content with your ride: think it out.

If you've sunk that kind of cash into your TJ then I say "run it". 8)

Buy a projct jeep, start from scratch and build what you want. You can find older jeeps that have easy to fix problems for short cash. You just need to invest in some hard work and a little know how. Start to hang around people with lots of extra parts! get em cheap!

I am about it embark on a CJ project. Just starting with a frame, nothing else!

That's a good question. I love my CJ But it ain't no YJ or not even close to a TJ for comfort. I have owned a YJ and it was great but a little to Car like in the interior and wasted technical crapola. So I stuck with CJs. It's hot as hell in the summer, cold in the winter, noisy, slow, heavy duty, old friend I wouldn't trade for the world.

If you get a CJ inject it, plain and simple.

Starting to sound like the wife

Just don't tell her I said that

HEHE
Just kidding hun!
