Electrical nightmare

My 89 YJ sahara 4.2, Motorcraft carb, nuttered, has been haveing major electrical problems lately. I don't even know where to start,(ignition switch won't send power to starter relay, brights won't come on, radio looses power all the time, and the really tight areas under the dash have quite a bit of blood on them and I am loosing patience) are electrical issues common on these? Does anyone know where I could get a factory shop manual (not a chilton "Has every wiring diagram except the one you need" manual)? I have half a mind to just rip it all out and start over. :bomb:

Try ebay. I found an auction for a 1989 that includes a separate electrical manual. The lot number is 110005347820.

Just so you know, it's not actually that bad to pull the dash and start over... With CJs, I usually just strip back to the main harness (fuse box and under-dash), repair as needed, and start from there.

Electrical gremlins are a pain. Good luck!
