My computer is dead on my 93 XJ they are discontinued to. Shooot. Anyone know a good way to get one, is a junk yard the best way to go? Is there a site?

Also, I know I have a short somewhere whats the most likely spot>? any help?>

I bought an IDM from him for my F-250. New one was $950. His was $350. Granted, it was rebuilt, but I've ran it for 3 or 4 years now with no problems. I would give him a call and see if he can help you. He was very helpful and seemed to know what he was doing. Later!

Yeah I ran into the same problem when the ECU went ot on a T-bird I used to have, I was lucky enough to find one at the local junkyard, you could try there but a rebuilt one is always better than a junker. And as for the short, is it a short in the computer you mean? If so the check the wires connecting to the computer, could be a loose wire in that clip.

Just gunna go through all fuses again with my test light, just so damn tedious! I know its a draw, just gotta find whats causing it.
