feather gas pedal

hey guys, could someone tell me why i might have to feather my gas pedal coming out of 1st gear especially when the jeep is turning?

Why do you have to feather it. Does it want to stall?

yes but only when it shifts from 1st 2nd gear

Sounds like a possible float level prob or possible vaccum leak. Thats a tough one to diag without actually seeing it.
