Flywheel question.

I am installing a 360 in my cj. The 360 came out of a Wagoneer which had an automatic transmission. I have the flywheel from the 304 which was originally in the Jeep. Can I use the 304 flywheel on the 360??

amc v-8 engines are exterally balanced, which means the flywheel/flex plate has counterweights built into it as part of the crankshaft counterbalancing system. you will need an amc360 flywheel and the entire crankshaft/flywheel assembly needs to be balanced as a unit. good luck, john
