ford fuel injectors

So i ordered some injectors off ebay for my 5.2.. when i pulled one of the old ones out i put the old and new side by side just to be sure.. well i noticed the new ones were shorter, but other than that almost identical, well except for the fact that they say ford on them LOL.

So i did a quick a search and i see that some people are actually using ford injectors. Is this ok to do?

If its normal fine.. no biggie. id be fine with using them as long as i can get my jeep back together rather than wait for replacements. It is my daily driver.

answer is yes lol.. i went ahead and put them in, they work fine

Noticed any improvements? What are you looking to gain?

I run Ford injectors in my 2.5L YJ.

Well wasnt really looking to gain. Just regular maintenance. But honestly it seems like it accelerates smoother,idles better and seems to have a bit more pick up in the mid range rpm. But its hard to say if its from the injectors since i also replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, tps, and cleaned the hell outta the throttle body. Could have been any one of those things that helped.
