... Four Door Unlimited

I totally agree with you! They look like H3's. i couldnt imagine seeing one with the top down and the doors off.

Hey, we caught you.......YOU LOOKED!!!!!!!

Yeah, totally stock..........snapped the pics at a dealer here.

I personally like it as much as any of the long wheel base Jeeps, I'd buy it if I needed the extra room; beats a rav4 or one of those honda box things that start with E but that I cannot remember the name of at this moment.

UM, you have it all backward H3's look like the new Jeep. Rember Jeep set the standard, hummers are trying to meet it... key word trying. So lets make sure we get it strait. ;) I mean "It's a Jeep Thing" :driving-g

check out this site and notice these quotes it's proof hummers are trying to be like Jeeps http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=106536
...When will you do a Hummer that's not body-on-frame, like Jeep?
We are looking at two or three next entries for Hummer, all segments where iconic design and unparalleled off-road would work....

... How small do you envision it? Ford Escape size?
Yeah, Jeep Liberty. In that size. ...

I hate to be a rebel, but I kind of like the look. I am only 40, and I am not usually up to change, but some change isn't bad. For all you oldtimers, if this thing sells well, then there should be more CJs out there for sale. So look at it positively. LOL, Take Care, KJ

Your not the only one, Many people were buying S-T-R-E-C-H-E-D Jeeps from a place in TX, so I only imagine that is were Jeep got the idea.

Oh, I also like the:driving-g it is one of my favorites, also :sawzall: mr sawzall is cool, lots of good ones here. :)

I am actually buying one for my family... I'm selling my CJ-7 and buying the 4-door for a family fun car that will comfortably take us all to the dunes, the snow, etc. It's not the 25 year old guys version of a Jeep, but to us middle agers who have enough bucks to buy new, it's a pretty cool alternative.

I agree though, it's going to take some getting used to... UGLY!

that last post reminded me of the Chevy Avalanche
GM designed that thing with the 20 somthings in mind, you know the snowboarding, water sking, kiak, mountain dew bunch? They were shocked when the unit sold very well, but not to that segment. It was the 50 and 60 year olds who bought it.

i do have to say i like the looks for a family version, but i don't like what i saw underneath. It looks like there is a lot of catch on stuff.

Alright so maybe i would let my wife get it but theres no way in hell you'll catch me in it

If I could afford it I would buy one for the wife and kid. Don't really like the door handles and seems a little boxed, as far as the other things I don't like, that would all be resolved with mods.

i saw one today and my passenger a fellow jeeper gave him the finger while the guy rookie waved.. u know.. the FULL OUT  out the window while smiling.. i just shook my head if i pull up next to one... ill simply say.. ur not in my family, ull always be the black sheep.

Was it 2wd???? If not, I think you may have committed a faux pas! A Jeep is a Jeep (4wd anyway). Time marches on, things change, yeah - they suck for now, but it's still a Jeep. I used to hear the same ****e about my TJ (still do, from some!   )

But a 2wd Wrangler??????............finger away!!!!

Alright guys, for all of you who say you'd buy it for the family and let the wife drive it. You know you'd be out there at midnight when no one else is around and take it around the block. LOL, thats like when I go to walmart oops, did I say that, and I tell the wife I am buying this cool RC boat for my son, knowing all along, I like it and want to play with it. Take Care, KJ

I'll take one. I like em. I haven't made my full plan out yet, but it is something like this:
Give DC a couple of years to work out the bugs and hopefully offer a Hemi option (wishing anyway). By that time my wife's Avalanche will be ready to go on the market. Give her a few years behind the wheel of the 4 door Rubicon model, then it's off to Lowes for a pack of Sawzall blades.
I guess you know what I will do with it, so you might ask why start with a Rubicon model? Higher resale if you have to go that route. Second is that I could probably get some real money back out of the axles when I go to put uni-mogs on. Gimme about 6 years and I'll have a fly 4 door.
