Btw, for the "quadratrac" Experts: It drove perfectly on the front axel after this happened proving my long time point. Quadratrack is Front wheel biased 4wd. The joint on the back of the xfer case came loose from rusted clips threw the rear shaft and pole vaulted at 35 mph tearing up the diff and smashing the pumpkin with the shaft. The Quadratrack unit didnt even notice and just kept going, too excited at the prospect of 1200 bucks of all terrain tires going on it. The only thing I felt other than the smash was the eventual loss of brake power, but then again I keep my hand brake functional.
