does anyone know if a gas tank skid from an 88' xj will fit on an 00' xj, assuming they are both 20 gallon tanks. i found one for a sweet price and i'm unsure if it will fit.

The 1984-1996 XJ's have a steel gas tank, while the 1997-2001 models have a plastic gas tank that hangs lower.

thanks suds, it was a good deal, but it didnt happen anyways. it was for a stock skid, so im gonna get a be looking into a beefier one.
