Gave the XJ a little trail/flex testing today (pics)

It's been kinda dry so the mud wasn't very deep but I got to flex the suspension pretty good.

I wasn't sure about the MTR's but I'm pretty impressed so far.

As to the last pic, I know, it is cliche but I had to  .

Very nice... I remember when I first took mine off road, it was amazing. I think that's what endared me to it so much, that even with no lift, or fancy bumpers, or anything like that, it could go places that I never thought a vehicle could go...

I'm afraid I've not been keeping up, what are current mods on your XJ?

'00 XJ 4.0L, auto, stock 3.55 gears (open diff's)
approx 4.5" lift:
front: 3" rusty's coils and a 2" poly spacer (stock isolator removed)
rear: Rough Country short AAL and 1.5" RRO lift shackles
Rough Country Hydro shocks
16x8 Cragar wheels (5" backspacing)
245x75x16 Goodyear MTR's (31x9.50).
Rough Country swaybar disco's
Old man emu stabilizer
R.E. adj. trackbar
Skyjacker transfer case drop (1.5").
removed rear swaybar
Running stock control arms

Still need front tow point  I'm considering a front hitch made by draw-tite that doesn't lose gound clearance and will strengthen the front end. It would be stronger than tow hooks to the unibody.

Looks great! Love the "car crawling" pic. I notice you didn't black-out your plate number!

Nice pics. Nothing cooler than a moded XJ, especially when you get to see it in some off-road action!!!!!!
