GCL waterpump replacing

I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee Limited with a water pump that is just starting to leak. Called the dealer and the part is $60 but the labor is $450. How hard is this to do myself?? Anybody had experience with replacing these on the glc?? thanks for any input.

from the parts store they're like 20 bucks... your choice if you want OEM or aftermarket... anyways... do it YOURSELF!!! download a manual from the top post in the XJ forum, they're fairly simple...

water pumps are cake. all you gotta do is losen the belt, pop off the fan and unbolt the old pump.

yeah a very simple repair--- no probs, it'll take the better part of an hour and a half. Don't pay someone else to do it,(might as well pay someone to change your oil too) :lol:
