Hard top / doors

I have a 79 CJ-7. I have an opportunity to pick up the hard top and doors for a 94 YJ for pretty cheap. I am pretty sure that these will fit on my CJ, but I am looking for confirmation... Will it work? I think that the doors use a striker instead of the way the 79 doors latch, but I can just put the strikers on my tub, right?

Yes they will fit on your '79 CJ7.

Cool, thanks! I met this guy that offered to sell them to me for 250... I already have a hard top and doors but I figure that I can pawn them off on ebay and recoup most or all of my cost and have a set that is 15 years newer. Good deal?

That's what I thought. He said he sold his YJ a while back and the guy didn't want to take the hard top and doors right away, he was supposed to come back later. He never did... So he just wants to get them out of his garage. I think I will!
