I wonder why it would not fit up to 2001?
My plastic tank has bad threads and I just might have to get me one of these...

looks like it may not hold as much water. Which may cause problems. Cant really tell from the pics.

My coolant tank has been leaking by the threads that hold the cap on.
A few months back it was running hot and I just replaced the cap.
It fixed it for awhile but started leaking out coolant around the threads after I would shut er down. If finally started to leak baaaad and I had to break down and get one from the stealership, good thing I had a bud get it for me dealer cost for $36 they list for $53. They have one on ebay for $22 plus $10 shipping. I still would like to try out that all metal version some time though.
