Head lamp-dash shortage

Ok,,, the gremlins are at it again... Last night my head lights and dash lights would not stay on at the same time. If they were both on, they blew the fuse quicker than you could say, stop... They will stay on and not blow by the eaches, but not at the same time.. I know shorts are hard to say, there it is.. but where would I even start to look...

Sounds like your headlight dimmer is dying.
I just bypassed the dashboard dimmer and wired my dash lights up to the wire for my parking lights.
Works like a charm.

Hi,

A good place to start would be the headlamp switch. If you test it and it is working properly, then I'd look at any splices under the dash, or even the connector(s) at the headlamp switch or dash.

Found the problem... Replaced the light switch,, all is well..
