Head swap questions

i finally decided to change the head on my 4.2. i bought a 4.0 head off of a cherokee, the guy said it was from a H.0 motor, is there any way i can tell if it is actually a H.0 head?

Compare it to your current head, the intake ports will be a lot higher on the HO head.

im wondering about the difference from a regular 4.0 head to a H.O 4.O head. I know that either one is going to be a lot different from the head on my 4.2

the intake ports will be a lot higher on the HO head.

The HO raises the intake manifold, giving the air/fuel mixture a more direct shot into the cylinder as opposed to the non-HO mixture making a 90º turn in the head to make it into the cylinder.
