Hell Creek Suspensions

I saw in this message board that Hell Creek lift kit might be the same as Rough Country. And what I've read is that Rough Country Sucks Bad. So I emailed Hell Creek and asked to make sure before I order the YJ 4" lift kit. And this is what he emailed me,

"We do use Rough Country brackets and shocks in our kits, which are shipped to our customers directly from Rough Country; however, the similarity ends there. Our springs, which are the main component of any lift kit, are made in the U.S.A by us in New Albany, Mississippi, and carry our lifetime warranty to the original purchaser."


Just thought I could clear this up if anyone else is considering this kit. I just order mine and can't wait to install it.

have to disagree w/ya corrupt.... mine are flexing pretty well (course, my only other experience was with Pro Comp - YIKES!!!!) i'm really satisfied w/the bang for the buck and the support cant be matched (tom actually writes you back!) just had to chime in....

I have the Hell Creek 4" on a 98 TJ... and no complaints for the cost$$$ its a deal and looks awesome.. I do think I would buy better shocks next time

Your coil springs actually are the same as RC. HellCreek makes leaf springs, not coils. They just resell the TJ kits.

I bought a kit for my XJ, it had Hell Creek leafs for the rear and RC coils for the front. Never installed it though so I cannot comment on the flex. The leaf springs looked to be top quality.

Yeah, I heard that their 4" kit is sold with Hellcreek springs, while the 2.5 is RC.
