Thanks for taking a look at a problem we had recently. I have a 2000 TJ with a 5.5 rubicon extreme lift, 1" tera flex body lift, and 1" motor mount lift.
I recently just got my first flat on the trail. I had my front sway bar disconnects undone for more flex.
The problem came when we went to use the hi-lift jack to lift the jeep. The vehicle flexed to much and would not raise the jeep. The ground wasnt exactly flat (as most trail conditions are). We saw the quick disconnets were a major part of the problem but were no where near where they needed to be to line them up to put the pins in.
We were lucky enough to have a bottle jack to help get them in. We needed to use both jacks at the same time and I must say it did not seem to safe. Needless to say it took a long time for us to figure out the engineering of this.
So I ask what are the suggestions and items usually carried to help connect the disconeects when your out on the trail.
Thanks
Brandon
