Help with PRO COMP LIFTED LEAF SPRINGS

I have searched out numbers on leafs and found them to be PRO COMP lifted leaf springs for rear. They were given to me and they currently have 3 position shackles on them. I want to get rid of block lift on rear of my 1992 jeep cherokee laredo. I believe the front is a four inch lift at least three. I am currently running toyo 31's. I looked at the rear and my question is do I need the shackles with my new leafs and if so how do I install them? I have searched all over the Internet and can't find anything. Pictures would help allot. I would assume the shackle would need a spacer like on the leaf itself to take up gap in existing bracket and then leaf spring would fit in shackle at whatever position. Hope this makes sense on what I am trying to find out. Thanks. I hear these pro comp lifted leaf's compared to blocks will also give me a much better ride. Any inputs would be appreciated.

Flatter springs tend to ride smoother than arched springs, so they ProComps will likely be more stiff.

XJ shackles are unique in that the ends are different, the lower end fitting outside the spring eye and the upper end fitting inside a frame pocket with the bushing inside the shackle. You should probably run stock XJ shackles if running the lift springs.

Thanks Bounty Hunter, Sorry its taking so long I have been rather busy. I would love to finish this project soon. I will put the leafs on in a day or so. I know now that I need front control arm drop down kits to help out my ride. I did not put suspension in so been having to go through and make sure what i have and if it was done right and how to perfect everything. Thanks

Just out of curiosity for have not found much but what is the best way to lift rear. Its currently on 2" blocks and I heard if you do any wheeling you may have problems or break existing leafs. These springs I have are arched but the bottom one is flat straight. May not even be pro comp? ah Jeez, I will just give them a shot.
