hi from the 4 corners

thanks

everything i have done has been mechanical/electrical.
it looks exactly the same except the new fender, bumper, seats.
but now comes the fun part.
paint,new steering wheel, fuzzy dice*

*just kidding on the fuzzy dice part....

Got any good lines on part suppliers for these old soldiers?

I recently received a catalog from 4WD harware commercial sales with 31 pages of the good o'l jeeps ranging from 41 to 75 models. Call e'm up for one. 1-800-333-5535.

I no longer have a willys, but this place came highly recommended from a very good source. Not much of a website, but its nice to actually talk to a PERSON once in a while! willysworks.com
X2 on Walcks also

Personally, only spoke with em once. They had my part, and very helpful, reasonable $$, but I ended up finding one local. What are you needing? Just drive the derned thing!! Whats wrong with steering wheel you have? Is it orig?

all the rubber has broken off and it is covered with wads of duct tape.

it's funny how many people cant wrap their head around the idea of restoring a jeep.
them- when are you gonna put a big ol V8 in her?
me- never . it's a restoration.
them -does she have 40 inch mudders?
me -no and it never will. it's a restoration.
them -why not? it's gotta have 500 cubes and nitro and a 14 inch lift and ,and and
me- no it doesnt. it's a restoration.
go buy one and mod to your hearts content.

I think it is great your are doing restoration instead of making it a "rock climber". I can see why you need a new steering wheel nothing getting all sticky while driving!
