I can get my hands on a complete 4.2l out of a 89 Jeep Sahara it got 80k on it but runs very strong how much you guys think its worth[addsig]

Well I paid $1,850.00 for a rebuilt 4.2 from Jasper engines. It comes with a 3 year/ 75,000 mile warranty. [addsig]

J89 how is your engine running? I used to work at Jasper Engines in High School and they make a good product. They are a little expensive but worth the money. There is no way some guy in a shop can do all the testing and R&D they have done to ensure a quality product. So I would say try them out before I had some guy bore one and slap it together.

i would say 750.00 only because its complete and miles arent bad for somthing that old i would just make sure and do a compresion check it doesnt have to be running just get a large socket and breaker bar and rotate from the crank. good luck also what else can you get off that jeep, i would be interested in the seats if they arent bad or cloth tell us what you find out
