My guess would be with the others the rear main I had one go out one week after puttin a freshly rebuilt engine in started slow then boom about 2qt per ten miles but before then it was just a few drops at the bottom of the bellhousing also depending on avg temp in your area I run 15w-40 mobil delvac its thicker and it will cut down on leaks and blow by if its really cold where your at let it warm up alittle longer
