I have a matched set of W/T '86 Axels.

DANA 30 Front, AMC 20 Rear.

what are the gears, are you sure its not a 44, i know there were some 20s put in jeeps in 86 but not many[addsig]

What is the gear ratio?
Are they stock or have you done anything to them, lockers?
And where are you located?

actually, most of the 86 cj's had the amc 20 in them, very few were made with the dana 44.......sure you just got turned around.... jeep ran out of the amc 20's and had to use the dana 44 on the last of the 86's to leave the assembly line....anyway, so he's probably right in that it is a amc 20......by the way, what's the gearing on them??
