I have been M.I.A. for a while my life got turn upsidedown for a bit. I was forced to sale my YJ. Now everything is flying right I have decide to build a new jeep. Almost from ground up... accually im starting with the diffs... I want to put DANA 44s front and aft. I have a TJ frame that I am using for the platform.. What do you guys recommend to salvage from for the 44s?

I'm in the process of installing a Ford 8.8 in my TJ. The 8.8 (from a 97+ explorer) would be another good choice if you aren't married to the 44s.

Im a huge Dana fan.. I have always thought of going with Fords, but always find my self putting Danas in. This will be my 3rd and hopfully last Jeep Build for me. This is my first TJ.

I just got back from the salvage yard with a 4.0 with only 12k on it.
