Is this a 2150?

I made some past referencing in this site and many others on spotting these and lookin for the right one out of many makes at a salvage yard. This one came from a (door said) 1983 LTD with I think a 3.8 6cyl. It had grime only years hidden under the air box and hoses.

The ID tag on the top says:

E3SE
ES
E 3D 29
It matches the parts # at O'reillys for a 2150

I'm thinkin' that cruise solenoid could make for an interesting extra throttle lever somehow.

Any thoughts on this carb. How would some of you run this set up on an 85 cj7 258 I6 with high mileage and shaky distributor vacuum advance.

I also saw some TFI conversion possibility parts from this salvage yard.
I'm a cheapa#@ :? :)

Does anyone have a copy of 2150 explode view they could post? I know they come with the rebuild kit, but I can't spend that much right now. O'riellys wants 30 some bucks for it. I would mainly like to identify some parts.

I got the adapter today and will probably install the whole thing this weekend. :D

How does the choke end up working? Pushing down on the front of the choke linkage is the only way I see for it to engage and lock open the choke plate. Does the choke itself crank it down or will I need to connect my manual choke linkage? Thanks in advance.

3rd brake light gone

How did you guys deal with the choke issues on these 2150's? Did you use electric chokes or attach a manual choke? If the later is so where on the choke linkage did you attach the cable?

Oh yeah, the choke plate should always be open unless the choke is engaged right? I'm having troubles visualizing how this will be set up.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can anyone help on these carb issues? I'm putting it on in the morninig and I would like to have what parts I need in the beginning. Even a go to hell would be nice :D
